Tours of the Museum and the Lock area are conducted during normal operating hours. You may guide yourself through the Museum using the informative text panels throughout, or you may have a Docent lead you and your group through the Museum. North Park Trail hikes are conducted several times a year (check our "Calendar at a Glance" for specific dates) by historian and naturalist Joe Kochenderfer.

If you happen to visit us when the Museum is closed, please take the time to visit around the Museum grounds. We have several interpretive panels to help you learn the history of the Lock and the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal. The grounds are a beautiful place to have a picnic or go fishing.
