Greater Havre de Grace Museum Association

2022 Summer Museum Adventure Pass

On July 15, 2022, seven of the museums in the Greater Havre de Grace Museum Association launched their inaugural Summer Museum Adventure. The museums invite families and individuals to visit six of the seven museums between July 15 and September 15, 2022. While there, visitors get their passport stamped to document their experience. After they have toured six of the museums, guests will drop off their completed passport at the last museum they visit, or they can drop it off at the Havre de Grace Visitors Center on Pennington Avenue. The participating museums are: Bahoukas Antiques & Beer Muzeum, Concord Point Lighthouse & Keeper’s House Museum, Havre de Grace Decoy Museum, Hosanna School Museum, Lock House Museum, Steppingstone Farm Museum, and Washington Street Books & Entertainment Museum.

“Our main goal with this project is to encourage area residents, in particular, to discover the amazing resources covering history, culture, and entertainment—and so much more—right in their own backyard,” stated Joanne Healey, Executive Director of the Lock House Museum.

“Visitors coming to Havre de Grace are always excited to find out how many great museums are located in Havre de Grace and the surrounding area, and even more amazed at the arrival of three more, in the near future, with the opening of The Havre de Grace Museum in Harmer’s Town Art Center, The First Call Paranormal & Oddities Museum, and the return of the Skipjack Martha Lewis,” added John Klisavage, owner of Washington Street Books & Entertainment Museum,

Weekend adventurers wanting to visit several museums in one day can hop aboard Havre de Grace’s new trolley, 'The Tide', which stops near the five museums located in the City's historic district. “Since the Tide service began last month, it has been a huge hit with both tourists and residents,” according to Lauri Orzewicz, Manager of Tourism.
